Here we have a p2p release that has started making the rounds on the internet. We reported on a Cam release of this last month, so this a nice upgrade for those that have been wanting to give this a watch. Thanks to Bloodshot. Enjoy!

Quality: DVDScreener mp4 p2p Release. I have not been able to personally check the video and audio of this release, but judging from the screensnaps the video looks to be more than acceptable for a DVDScreener. Keep in mind most DVDScreeners are known to have black/white scenes, watermarks, warning messages, and/or blurring out of text.

Synopsis: In northern Australia at the beginning of World War II, an English aristocrat inherits a cattle station the size of Maryland. When English cattle barons plot to take her land, she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn stock-man to drive 2,000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country’s most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia, by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier.

Nice - even though ive heard mixed things about this movie i have been waiting to get a decent copy - maybe a 700mb or 1.4gb rls will be out soon…………….

Hilarious, they were claiming to have extra surveillance in cinemas to prevent ‘piracy’ when this was released….of course nothing could get audiences IN to give a sh$t once the reviews came out

Agree with Pugwash. My wife dragged me into this disaster for New Year’s Eve, she wanted to see it so badly. God knows, I’ll forgive Nicole Kidman a fair amount, but this is ridiculous. When Luhrmann directed Kidman in "Moulin Rouge", we had something of merit. Now, we just get regurgitation of Luhrmann-style CG which, while convincing in "Moulin Rouge", becomes grotesque in "Australia". Add to that a questionable interpretation of the role by Kidman (presumably under pressure from Luhrmann to overdo it), a comic book story line and an overly long run-time… and I was ready to scream by the end of it. For anyone who really wants it, why DL 3.8 GB for a standard rip when there’ll be 4.4GB HD rip coming along before long. Crap, even a super-compressed HD rip at 3.8GB or even less… is still going to be vastly superior toa SD rip.
It’s about time we started seeing more 2.2GB rips from Blu-ray sources… not that much more than a 1.4GB DL, yet 10 times better video quality. I would even go for 1.4GB Blu-ray source rips with 256 or 384 GB 5.1 audio… that will still give a better result than an SD riip.

To syncfix the Spire copy:

1. Cut the movie in two parts (Second part begins where audio goes out of sync, at 58:14.828 in the original file) If you don’t know how to do this use this guide http://www.weethet.nl/english/video_cutavis.php

2.Open the second part of the movie in Virtual dub and sync audio by delaying audio track by -2200. Same procedure as step one (choose direct streaming) and save. Use following guide if you’re new to this http://www.tutorialsroom.com/tutorials/av/vdub_adjust_sync.html.

3. Join the two segments into one file - http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=59541.

Only takes about 6 mins to to all this..better than waiting for a sync fix to download
