Yet another DVDRip from FiCO, Dance of the Dragon is a Musical, and therefore is really not my type of movie.. but I know there’s people out there who will want to see this.

In the part of the movie I downloaded, there was little spoken audio, the audio that was spoken was in Korean with hardcoded subtitles.

Quality: Video and Audio quality are of a high standard, perfectly watchable.

Synopsis: Jason Scott Lee, Jang Hyuk, and Fann Wong star in Dance of the Dragon, a modern day tale of love, passion, courage and hope, with the demanding and visually stunning disciplines of ballroom dancing and martial arts woven into the plot.

Asian-American Hollywood actor Jason Scott Lee plays the role of Cheng, a former martial arts champion. His relationship with Emi is threatened by the arrival of Tae whom Emi mentors in dance. Soon, student and mentor appear to develop feelings for each other, leading to a showdown that will resolve the passionate love triangle.

Dance and martial arts are pivotal to the films storyline. Ballroom dancing is Tae’s lifelong dream and through Emi, he can develop this craft. Tae must also face in a martial arts challenge with the loser leaving Singapore – and Emi.

FiCO brings us a relatively old TV DVDRip Drama based on a true story about a woman who spent most of her life in a mental institute, not my type of movie to be honest, but is it your type?

Quality: Great quality video with this release. But mono audio at a low bitrate, it isn’t that bad I guess, considering this movie is from 1989.

Synopsis: Fact-based drama about the life of Marie Balter, who spent most of her young life in mental institutions. At age 16, she first attempted suicide and the next 20 years she spent in and out of the institutions. At last, a caring doctor started treating her for extreme depression and panic disorder. Weened from strong medications she had taken all her life, at age 36, she emerged for the last time and started a rehabilitation program in the home of a volunteer married couple. There she met a fellow patient with whom she developed a romantic relationship. She also started a college degree. This followed with a long-term professional success in the field of mental health.
