Hey, it’s our first BD9 post but it’s worth it. A favourite movie of mine even though it is very cheesy. BDiSC have released the first HD BluRay release of this movie, which happens to be a 1080p BD9. Don’t let the BD9 tag put you off, it’s just an .mkv file however it includes an .exe which will allow you turn it into a bluray structure to burn on a DVD9 for playback in PS3/Standalone bluray players.

Quality - Brilliant of course as you would expect from a 1080p release. It’s hard to believe how much better this movie looks in HD than what it did in SD.

So we had the DVDScr of this movie a few weeks ago, here is the DVDRip from PUKKA! Personally I hate these old western type movies but I know a lot of people have been waiting for this one.

Quality: Brilliant quality as to be expected from a 2CD DVDRip.

Synopsis: Actor Ed Harris takes only his second stab at directing, following the Oscar-winning feature POLLOCK (2000) with this spirited western. Harris draws on a strong cast, many of whom have acted with him in previous films, to tell the story of two gunfighters attempting to bring peace to the small town of Appaloosa in the late 1800s. Virgil Cole (Harris) and Everett Hitch (Viggo Mortensen) ride into the windswept New Mexico town and are hired to bring vigilante entrepreneur Randall Bragg (Jeremy Irons) to justice. Bragg has imposed a reign of terror over Appaloosa, but his murderous actions are tempered when Cole and Hitch take control. Here we have the first CAM of the highly anticipated movie Twilight from CAMERA. I have heard a lot of hype about this movie and there was even a riot when the cast pulled of an autograph signing.

Quality: Obviously as you can tell from the release type, it is a CAM. They are normally terrible and this one is no exception, the video looks like it has a blue filter over it the whole way through and the focus is quite bad aswell. However the audio is actually really decent for a CAM.

Synopsis: Isabella Swan moves to gloomy Forks to live with her father. As she starts her junior year in high school she becomes fascinated by Edward Cullen who holds a dark secret which is only known by his family. Edward falls in love with Bella as well but knows the further they progress in their relationship the more he is putting Bella and those close to her at risk. Edward warns Bella that she should leave him but she refuses to listen and to understand why he is saying this. Bella learns his secret. He is a vampire, however she is not afraid of his blood-thirsty needs and the fact he could kill her at any moment. Bella is afraid of losing him, the love of her life. The thrill begins when a new vampire finds it a challenge to hunt Bella down for her irresistible blood. The game is on and James will not stop until she is killed.

Another game which I was waiting for, good old Sonic from SEGA! This one looks pretty good, hopefully it will make up for the crappy last few Sonic games that came out. This one is PAL only guys, but the NTSC version was released last week by Nocturnal (Check out the NFO HERE).

Holy crap!! The movie of the year has been released on DVDR! Although I’m sure a lot of you will disagree with that, but it sure is a big release, the retail DVD isn’t even due out til the 9th of December. I can’t wait to watch this again in great quality, although I’m waiting for the Blu-Ray. Enjoy!

Quality: Excellent quality, which is to be expected from a retail ripped DVDR of course. Some of you may want to wait for the NTSC version as this is PAL but in my opinion this is fine.

Another movie out on DVDRip, it’s a pretty big title of course, but you’ve probably already seen the good quality R5 or DVDScr. This movie was a total letdown in the Mummy series and as a movie by itself, so watch it if you want to laugh at how bad it is.

Quality: Obviously being a 2CD rip, this is brilliant quality both video and audio wise.

Quality: Great image quality of course as it is a DVDRip, although people might want to wait for a 2CD p2p rip for higher audio quality.

All this week on E4, their show for Halloween, “Dead Set” was shown. I watched it on tv and it was pretty good, for anyone who likes zombie movies then you’ll definately like this. A couple of days ago there was the SYNDiCATE non-retail version of this game, but here is the retail version from DAGGER.
