Well here’s the latest release of Valkyrie, this time a telesync by PreVail. Starring Tom Cruise and concerning the true story behind a plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler this will probably be a relatively successful film. Ratings so far are promising, IMDB votes having rated Valkryie with a very decent 7.5/10 so far. Quality is your typical telesync quality, not great – but watchable.
Quality: NUKE: oversized_737327104.bytes_cropped.english.subtitles.for. -german.dialogs_i40.tinypic.com.2j5knl0.jpg
This release has been nuked – being oversized by 37 megabytes as well as the english subtitles not being readable. Unless you understand German or don’t care – wait for the proper, R5 or DVDRip.
Synopsis: At the absolute height of World War II, German generals hatch a daring plan to assassinate Adolf Hitler and effectively render the German war machine impotent. Directed by Bryan Singer, Valkyrie stars Tom Cruise as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, the real-life mastermind behind the elaborate plot known as Project Valkyrie: a plan to assassinate Hitler and overthrow his government from the inside. Stauffenberg has been a loyal soldier and an asset to the Reich for his entire military career, but after losing an eye, a hand, and three fingers in an Allied bombing, he reaches a breaking point. The destructive madness that his country is unleashing on the world has become too terrible for the colonel to stand silent. He joins the resistance movement — a treasonous act, punishable by death — and risks his life and the life of his family for the chance to change history. Comprised of high-ranking officials working in secret, the German Resistance has access to the inner workings of the government and military, putting them in the perfect position to dispatch the dictator and then use his own official contingency plan to seize power — before the army, the S.S., and loyal party members can put someone just as diabolical in the Führer’s place.

TE just released the latest version of the very popular dvd authorer – ConvertXtoDVD. I personally find this to be a great app and use it often, and having used pretty much the entire range of dvd authoring apps out there I am almost certain that you will not find a better dvd authorer than this. enjoy =)
Here’s comedy release from VoMiT, which looks kinda cheap – but perhaps its not that bad. Maybe this is more your kinda film than mine hahah. Sometimes films can surprise you, perhaps this is one of them. (Afterall with a tagline like “A Comedy Where They Bare It All, To Find Out Who They Really Are… “) A different genre release from the usual VoMiT horror but the quality is just as good as usual

Here’s what looks like a action thriller DVDRip from DvF. Starring Leelee Sobieski (who often stars in reasonably good films) and featuring an intense sounding plot this film sounds pretty good. No ratings as of yet on Rotten Tomatoes or IMDB as the film is currently categorized as “in production.” This is also the reason behind there being no cover picture for this post; as i did search all over but to no avail. edit: found cover

Here’s the new horror thriller Amusement from scene group WaLMaRT. This sounds more like my kinda film so I might just give it a try. With no real ratings right now though its hard to estimate if this film will be a success or not, but the plot sounds interesting enough so it might just be alright. The trailer also looks decent, so I think this maybe a reasonable watch for the horror fans among you readers; enjoy. =)

Here’s the the social documentary – Zeitgeist Addendum – released by MoH. It seems like an interesting watch, and although I’m not really the type to watch documentaries – I’m sure many people will be interested in the topics discussed within this documentary. It’s also gotten a very high rating on IMDB of 9.1/10 so that could be a selling point for some of you.

Here’s another life-changing intellectual-type release, released by MoH – Christmas on Mars. It appears to be a music-slash-science-fiction adventure featuring music from the Flaming Lips. Looks interesting and most educational – so all-in-all this looks like it could be an release worth watching.

Okay here’s a romantic comedy released in telesync from ORC. This film features popular actresses Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson and has so far received somewhat mixed reviews. Personally I will give this film a pass but perhaps this is more of your kinda thing.

VoMiT has released a DVDRip of this wholesome and heart-warming family film, Eat Your Heart Out (aka Skinned Alive). It seems be orientated around a beautiful romance between a lonely loveless man and a hooker. Enjoy!

Ok so here’s the drama Blindness from PUKKA – the proper due to no ivtc having been performed on the previous release. Personally I watched the screener which was fine quality for me but in case you haven’t yet watched Blindess here’s the DVDRip. Enjoy. =)

Here’s a nice double release post of the two TMPGEnc authoring applications EMBRACE has released for you all to enjoy – TMPGenc Authoring Works v4.0.2.14 and TMPGEnc XPress v4.6.3.268.
Here’s a third addition to the relatively popular horror series; Boogeyman 3. I personally quite like the old school style of horror so may just grab this release.

Here is yet another limited (60 copies) MP3 release from D2H. This time I bring to you an industrial release from Linija Mass; Industrealism. This release seems for me to be very much reminiscent of the older style of industrial music, the tracks reminding me of the much older industrial group Throbbing Gristle at times.
Heres the third Behind Enemy Lines film, a 2009 production again with nothing to do with the previous in this somewhat disconnected series, released by scene group ARiGOLD. Remarkably little information on this film on the internet and no IMDB rating so it is hard to say whether this film will be a success or not, but if you enjoyed the previous films in the series or feel like an action this release could be for you. It also apparently features a WWE wrestler – Mr.Kennedy – so if unlike me you’re into wrestling perhaps this could be a selling point?! The previous films for me were watchable and reasonably entertaining – so perhaps this new addition to the series will be just as good.

Here’s a vampire romantic horror from horror movie extraordinaires VOMiT – aptly named Kiss Of The Vampire (although its named Imortally Yours in its IMDB profile). Although it has no ratings as of yet in its IMDB profile it looks like fun, so if you’re feeling adventurous or you love vampire themed films go ahead and grab this movie!
