Well, since OPTiC didn’t remove the trailer from the beginning of the release, mVs is releasing this “proper”. The OPTiC release was also overcropped which can be seen in THIS image. If you already have the OPTiC release however there is no need to download this proper imo. Not sure why they tagged it “Batman” when its simply called “The Dark Knight” though. In any case, have fun watching the movie

Quality: Quality wise this release seems identical to the OPTiC release. My advice is you check the sample below.

useless.. it was cropped just tiny bit…. and you can just fast forward the trailer in the beginning.. mvs just wants their name on the dark knight..

This is a perfect example of the lengths sceners will go to make a PROPER release. Maybe like 5 extra pixels on the top and bottom, and cut trailer at the beginning. However these are scene rules and mVs has reasonable grounds to PROPER OPTiC’s release. I find that in most cases, if it is not a popular film, there would have never been a proper of OPTiC’s version.

Wonder if the audio is the same as on the Optic, it sounded a little low on the Optic. You can of course turn up the volume a bit but still.

IMHO, a useless PROPER.
Keep the OPTIC one if you already downloaded it.
The trailer is non issue and the over cropping is very minimal.

Is this really a DVDSCR? There were burn marks during the scene where Harvey is talking to the Mayor, and the quality is a bit poor for a DVDSCR.
