So, last release i posted about of this film was the TeleSync by group PrisM, but here’s a little step up with a decent Screener. There’s some nice names in this film, such as Jason Bateman, Peter Serafinowicz of BBC fame, Vince Vaugh and a couple more (Malin Akerman not being one of them). This is the best quality release so far, so if you’ve been looking forward to this, give it a go.

Quality: Both video and audio quality are the best so far, so until retail appears (or perhaps a lucky DVD Screener or R5) this is gonna be the best you’ll get.

Synopsis: Their relationship in danger of dissipating, a couple racing to salvage their marriage invites three other couples to join them at a tropical island resort. Upon arriving at the island paradise to enjoy some carefree fun in the sun, the other couples are disturbed to discover that participation in therapy sessions is mandatory if they hope to remain at the resort. Peter Bilingsley directs a comedy penned by Jon Favreau, produced by Vince Vaughn, and pairing the two Made collaborators onscreen with co-stars Jason Bateman and Faizon Love.

Here’s Nicolas Cage’s Bad Lieutenant. Its first screener released by p2p group PrisM any scene release is not out yet. Audio is synced with Russian video but sample seems to be okay and quite watchable. Cast, plot and direction is also good so now just grab your copy and Enjoy!! ;)

Quality: Normal for SCR, just watchable but quite blurry. Don’t expect too much…it’s not BluRay! :P

He wields his badge as often as he wields his gun in order to get his way. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina he becomes a high-functioning addict who is a deeply intuitive, fearless detective reigning over the beautiful ruins of New Orleans with authority and abandon. Complicating his tumultuous life is the prostitute he loves (played by Eva Mendes). Together they descend into their own world marked by desire, compulsion, and conscience. The result is a singular masterpiece of filmmaking: equally sad and manically humorous.

ROAR seem to be boldly going where no VHS has gone before and that certainly is not into the shop for a head cleaning or service. This latest reboot of Star Trek was one movie that I had been waiting for as it promised to inject some much needed vigor into the series. Personally I will be holding off for a much higher quality scene release than this one after having caught it at the cinema some time ago. Please Enjoy!

Quality: Another fairly poor quality screener with compromised AR. Video is washed out and audio has a lot of static line noise. This has now been nuked for interlace (again) :D

Synopsis:On the day of James Kirk’s birth, his father dies on his ship in a last stand against a mysterious alien vessel. He was looking for Ambassador Spock, who is a child on Vulcan at that time, disdained by his neighbors for his half-human nature. Twenty years later, Kirk has grown into a young troublemaker inspired by Capt. Christopher Pike to fulfill his potential in Starfleet even as he annoys his instructors like young Lt. Spock. Suddenly, there is an emergency at Vulcan and the newly commissioned USS Enterprise is crewed with promising cadets like Nyota Uhura, Hikura Sulu, Pavel Chekov and even Kirk himself thanks to Leonard McCoy’s medical trickery. Together, this crew will have an adventure in the final frontier where the old legend is altered forever even as the new version of it is just beginning.

This is the new one with Johnny Depp that by all accounts is visually very rich and beautifully shot. I have read a fair few positive reviews of this film and while it does have its detractors more like it than not. Fans of crime thrillers who enjoy their drama are sure to like this. Enjoy this early SCR!

Quality: This is not a DVDSCR so video quality is muddy and has now been nuked for being interlaced. Audio has some annoying static throughout like the earlier “Up” SCR. Please take the time to read the NFO for notes regarding the AR

[NUKE] Public.Enemies.SCREENER.XviD-ROAR [ interlaced ]

Synopsis:This is the story of the last few years of the notorious bank robber John Dillinger. He loved what he did and could imagine little else that would make him happier. Living openly in 1930s Chicago, he had the run of the city with little fear of reprisals from the authorities. It’s there that he meets Billie Frechette with whom he falls deeply in love. In parallel we meet Melvin Purvis, the FBI agent who would eventually track Dillinger down. The FBI was is in its early days and Director J. Edgar Hoover was keen to promote the clean cut image that so dominated the organization through his lifetime. Purvis realizes that if he is going to get Dillinger, he will have to use street tactics and imports appropriate men with police training.

Aaaand here’s another Screener from ROAR, this time Year One. This seems like the kinda film that’s low rated on IMDB but still very enjoyable to watch, so I’ll be giving this a go.

Quality: Not as awesome as one would hope, but still watchable in my opinion.

Synopsis: Jack Black and Michael Cera headline Harold Ramis’ Biblical comedy about a pair of misfit hunter-gatherers who embark on a wild journey through the ancient world after being banished from their primitive village. Zed (Black) and Oh (Cera) may lack in the skills that their chieftain is looking for, but they have plans to make it big. Zed has a gut feeling that God has “chosen” him, and so he leads his buddy on a trip through the unknown countryside in search of bigger and better things, bumping into several weird characters along the way — like a feuding pair of brothers named Cain and Abel (David Cross and Paul Rudd). Unfortunately, their quest for greatness hits a few snags, like being sold into slavery, and later becoming the object of interest to a very amorous, very hairy high priest (Oliver Platt) in the opulent city of Sodom.

Well here is another Screener release which came out today which I’m catching up on in these busy summer days. This one stars Dwayne Johnson, more widely known as THE ROCK (can you smell what the rock is cookin?). Looks like a decent film to watch with the family. This film is based on the film of the same name which came out in the 70’s.

Quality: Sort of middle ground as it usually is with screeners. Definitely watchable if you’re not all to adapted to the greatness of high definition. It has been nuked for being interlaced though.

NUKED Interlaced Video

Synopsis: For years, stories have circulated about a secret place in the middle of the Nevada desert, known for unexplained phenomena and strange sightings. It’s called Witch Mountain, and when a Las Vegas cab driver (Dwayne Johnson) finds two teens with supernatural powers in his cab, he suddenly finds himself in the middle of an adventure he can’t explain. They work together to discover that the only chance to save the world lies in unraveling the secrets of Witch Mountain, and the race begins.

Well here is a screener of the Watchmen from ROAR. This one looks like a VHS screener so the quality isn’t that hot. This one has been nuked and unuked, so if you are looking for a quick laugh take a look at what was written for the nukes. I am still looking forward to watching this movie, but I would rather watch this movie in something with better quality.

[NUKE] interlaced_i40.tinypic.com.2sbs5g3.jpg

Quality:The quality is watchable. This release is pretty standard for a VHS rip video quality wise. There seems to also be a buzzing noise, at least in the sample provided so I don’t know if it goes for the whole movie or not.

Synopsis: “Watchmen” is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the “Doomsday Clock” – which charts the USA’s tension with the Soviet Union – is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion – a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers – Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity… but who is watching the Watchmen?”

Hello everyone! NO just released the SCREENER of this new film. It’s one of those romantic comedy’s you prolly wanna watch with your girlfriend. Romantic comedies never seems to please me, but I hope it’ll please some of you. Enjoy and thanks to NO.

Quality: It’s no DVDRip. This is a screener, meaning the source is a VHS tape. Keep that in mind and look at the screenshots below.

Synopsis: Struggling with her debilitating obsession with shopping and the sudden collapse of her income source, Rebecca Bloomwood unintentionally lands a job writing for a financial magazine after a drunken letter-mailing mix-up. Ironically writing about the very consumer caution of which she herself has not abided, Rebecca’s innovative comparisons and unconventional metaphors for economics grants her critical acclaim, public success, and the admiration of her supportive boss Luke. But as she draws closer to her ultimate goal of writing for renowned fashion magazine Alette, she questions her true ambitions and must determine if overcoming her “shopaholic” condition will bring her real happiness.

Group NO bring us a screener of Fired up, the movie was released in the US in February but wont be available any where else until June. I watched the movie and to be honest expected more, but it was on par with a lot of similar type movies. If you liked films like Without a paddle, Road trip etc…. you will probably like this.

Quality: Good Sound, Video is good but maybe a tad blurry but not very noticeable. I didn’t watch this release, but from checking i see no B&W scenes or watermarks. So enjoy.

Synopsis: Shawn Colfax (Nicholas D’Agosto) and Nick Brady (Eric Christian Olsen), the stars of the Gerald R. Ford High School football team, are dreading the prospect of another summer at football camp. After Nick hatches a scheme for the two to join their schools cheerleaders at cheer camp instead, they find themselves awash in a sea of gorgeous young women. I’ve just watched the trailer for this and it looks like it could be an ok movie, although I wouldn’t expect to be blown away. The ratings on IMDB and RT say the same kind of thing. The actors are mostly unknown as you might have guessed from the LIMITED tag, although I recognised a few such as Omid Abtahi from the TV series 24. Thanks to COALiTiON for the release, enjoy! :)

Quality: The quality is watchable, but by no means perfect. It’s a little blurry throughout, and the audio isn’t particularly clear. I’ve uploaded a sample for those who want to see for themselves, but if you are happy to watch videos that are less than DVDRip then this will be fine for you.

Synopsis: Based on Michael Chabon’s novel, the film chronicles the defining summer of a recent college graduate who crosses his gangster father and explores love, sexuality, and the enigmas surrounding his life and his city.

This looks like quite a nice film: It’s got some big names, and a decent rating on the IMDB. I haven’t watched a decent comedy in a while, so might give this a try – although some of you might want to wait for a better quality release. Thanks to BaLD for this one, enjoy!

Quality: Looks quite good for a Scr release. No noticeable watermarks in the sample, good sound. Video quality could be better, but it’s very watchable. Check the sample images/video.

Synopsis: “Yes Man” stars Jim Carrey as Carl Allen, a guy whose life is going nowhere—the operative word being “no”—until he signs up for a self-help program based on one simple covenant: say “yes” to everything…and anything. Unleashing the power of “YES” begins to transform Carl’s life in amazing and unexpected ways, getting him promoted at work and opening the door to a new romance. But his willingness to embrace every opportunity might just become too much of a good thing.

This release was uploaded to one of my servers about one hour ago, and as I have seen, there isn’t on any public place at the moment, so we are the first bringing you info about this.
This looks like a re-encode of the SCR released two days ago by a P2P group called PrisM, but since PrisM’s encoding standards are horrible, here is a best version.

Quality: Very little resolution, the movie doesn’t fit the 700 MB size due to this, anyways, pretty watchable, english subs are hardcoded, decent audio.

Synopsis: Oscar-winner Steven Soderbergh delivers this ambitious and sprawling biopic of one of the 20th Century’s most influential political figures. In the second 130-minute segment, GUERILLA, Ernesto “Che” Guevara (Benicio Del Toro) has abandoned Cuba in order to start an even more daunting Latin-American revolution. He starts in Bolivia where, using a pseudonym, Che begins training his cobbled-together forces. This time around, however, Che’s asthma is taking a greater toll, and the odds are stacked much higher against him. Yet even when the cause appears to be lost, Che remains defiant. Having accomplished the impossible in Cuba, he is determined to do the same thing here. But unfortunately time catches up to him, putting an end to his mission once and for all. For the second segment of his two-part epic, Soderbergh changes his style, reflecting the tougher battle that Che confronted in Bolivia. Gone is the glorious widescreen photography; replacing it is a more claustrophobic 1:85 ratio. Also gone is the tripod, which produces a much more frenetic, unstable effect for the viewer.

Quality: Screener. I watched the first 5mins and video/audio seem to be very good. Keep in mind that screeners can have the same video problems that can found in DVDscreeners depending on the source it was ripped from.
