Synopsis: Thomas Craven (Mel Gibson) is a veteran homicide detective in the Boston Police Department. Here we have a telesync of The Book of Eli released by scene group MENTiON. I initially passed up opportunities to go see this film in the cinema due to certain aspects of the storyline that I found out, and based on reviewers that I trust most, I figured I would not like it, but I may just go see it soon.
Update: I just got back from seeing this, I wish I hadn’t gone, the supermarket on fire next to the cinema was more entertaining than this film.

Quality: Quality is decent for a telesync, it is all in focus throughout with sharpness and detail great too. Aspect ratio appears spot on for the source and audio is very clear, sync also seems stable throughout. Dark scenes are dark, but you can see what’s going on well enough. There is some very slight strobing in bright scenes caused by filming at a different framerate (25fps) than the projector is running (24fps) but no distracting flicker, overall this is a great telesync with no visible ghosting and is more than watchable for those that do.
Update: Having just seen this film in the cinema, I must say that the colors of this telesync are VERY true to the original cinematic presentation, the film is very grey with a green tint as this is the “look and feel” of the film, any groups that “tweak” the colors of this film I am going to declare retards right off the bat.

The world has become a lawless civilization where people must kill or be killed. The barren roads belong to gangs of cutthroats who rob and kill for water, a pair of shoes, a lighter, or just for fun. After the war and the “Big Flash”, Eli was guided by a higher power to a hidden book and given the task of protecting the book and taking it to its final destination. Eli guards the book with his life, because he knows that the book is the only hope that humanity has for its future.

Another telesync of Sherlock Holmes released by D3M0NZ, this time using a different and better video source, which is in fact a hell of a lot better than their first release. A much higher resolution and spread over a 2CD release with great bitrate to work with. Whether you’re a fan of Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law or Guy Ritchie, or not a fan of any, this is a great film for anyone to enjoy.

Quality: OK quality video with a slight flicker, people visible in dark scenes and colours are not washed out, audio has a slight hiss but doesn’t make it unbearable. Very watchable release imo.

Synopsis: In a dynamic new portrayal of Arthur Conan Doyle’s most famous characters, “Sherlock Holmes” sends Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson on their latest challenge. Here we have a really quite poor telesync by infamous p2p-bashing but ultimately the most p2p group “in” the scene today, D3M0NZ. If you’re going to bash other groups for being p2p, how about not having a leader that’s an active uploader on a private tracker… I saw this film in theatres last week and it was really enjoyable, and with 7.7 from IMDB, 65% from RT community and 6.9 from MC users it seems a lot of others agree.

Quality: Video is very dark and blurry, most likely upscaled source, not at all helped with a bitrate of 613Kbps from squeezing 116 minutes into a 1CD release. Audio is very muffled with a lot of background noise, but is direct.

A couple of days ago we informed you of the cam release to this movie “Brothers”. Since there is no Scene TS of this movie yet, I thought I should inform you guys with this release. This copy is watchable and I will definately be wanting to check out this movie.

Quality: Good TS quality. The video quality is a bit wavey (meaning there are waves going horizontaly on the screen) and the audio is understandable!

Playing catchup a little here, but in the pile was a TS of A Christmas Carol. Basically it’s more of the same stuff from the people who bought you beowulf, but unless you’re really desperate, I wouldn’t suggest watching CGI films on anything less than an R5 release.

Quality: The sound isn’t actually all that bad, but the colour on the video, as you can tell looks extremely washed out. Still, it’s worth grabbing if you just want to see what the film has to offer.

Synopsis: An animated retelling of Charles Dickens classic novel about a Victorian-era miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions. But seriously, if you don’t know this story by now, go back to school.

IMAGiNE have released this movie that I’m sure alot of you will be downloading, as it’s a very watchable release in my opinion. I actually watch the live seance on sky 1 (English channel) where this medium was trying to contact MJ, and he apparently succeeded, I’ve got an open mind to all that sort of stuff, but I just thought it pathetic. Enjoy, This Is It.

Quality: The audio is really good crisp and clear the video, isint exactly the worse but it could be better as it’s slightly blurry or “smudged” at some points, I personally would say it’s watchable.

Synopsis: Legendary musical superstar Michael Jackson takes the stage one last time in this theatrical concert film compiled from over 100 hours rehearsal footage for the 50 shows he had been scheduled to perform at London’s O2 arena at the time of his death. Take a trip behind-the-scenes to see the mastermind behind such classic pop hits as “Thriller” and “Billie Jean” prepare for the concert that would crown his entire career. Produced in collaboration with the Estate of Michael Jackson, the film details the elaborate preparations that took place for two months beginning in April of 2009.
