Woohoo! I get to tell you about some more Samhain stuff! Dreamworks often do specials with successful franchises to “maximise market potentialfrom residuals” which basically means they want more money – and here it is! some station that likes using a fan and olympic rings broadcasted a made for TV film featuring all the original cast from the simply awesomely funny Aliens Vs. Monsters – And at the very least, for all you househeads out there, it’ll give you a Hugh Laurie fix for the week. Enjoy!

Synopsis: Susan Murphy (a.k.a. Ginormica) and the Monsters are now working with the US government as special ops. So when an alien presence is detected in Susan’s hometown of Modesto, California — right before Halloween — the team is dispatched to investigate. Everything appears normal, right down to the jack-o-lanterns peering out from every doorstep and windowsill. But when Halloween arrives, those innocent-looking carved pumpkins reveal themselves for what they really are mutant aliens. Synopsis: Los Angeles in the year 1996. Voilence and terror rule the streets and nothing and nobody is safe. Simon Pheonix is one the worst criminals that Los Angeles has seen. However, during John Spartan’s sentence, Los Angeles’ theme and society had dramatically change. The city became a society where everybody is peaceful, nice, kind, and understanding. Somehow, Simon Pheonix was let out of his iced prison and escaped from his parole hearing. now, Pheonix is using the Peaceful society that made Los Angles to his advantage and is destroying it. The Police tried to stop him with their non-violent solutions, but failed. Then, they have no choice but to let out John Spartan to stop Pheonix. Now, Spartan not only has to stop Pheonix, but to adapt himself to the future society he has no knowledge about.

Alright first of all I’m very aware that all 3 of the original Star Wars films have been released as HD rips quite a long time ago, but being a huge fan of the original trilogy I simply couldn’t resist posting this.

Quality: This is the kind of release you want to get if you can’t be bothered to download a full 720p release but want some of the quality that you get with an HD source!

Synopsis: Luke Skywalker stays with his foster aunt and uncle on a farm on Tatooine. Here is a film from 2006 with Wesley Snipes (currently in jail for tax fraud if my memory serves me well). It has been released several times before but now DEViSE has released a high quality HDTV rip and since we’ve never posted this film on ZeroSec before I thought it might be worth sharing with y’all!

I was busy working on some stuff for ZeroSec, when all of a sudden I got a highlight in IRC. Low an behold I saw this had pred and while laughing to myself decided it needed to be posted. I’m not quite sure what to make of this release: from the bit I have seen getting the snapshots it’s quite quirky and could be funny, however it could also just be a bit of a flop. Quality: Quality and audio are both good for this short, just your standard run of the mill PDTV TV release really.

This movie has the best special effects ever captured to film…if this was 1935. Seriously though this looks like fun if you are into ultra low budget monster flicks, namely the Sci-Fi Originals that air on the Sci-Fi channel. Thanks to aAF. Enjoy!

I love the work from these brits… so much time put into each movie in the day and age where everything is getting replaced by CGI. Gotta check this release out if your a fan. Even if you aren’t a fan, check it out. Normally these are a great watch for adults and kids alike.

Quality: Good video/audio, straight from the BBC (well I don’t know that for sure… but its probably a good educated guess)

Synopsis: Wallace and Gromit have a brand new business. The conversion of 62 West Wallaby Street is complete and impressive, the whole house is now a granary with ovens and robotic kneading arms. Huge mixing bowls are all over the place and everything is covered with a layer of flour. On the roof is a old-fashioned windmill. The transformation is perfect. Although business is booming, Gromit is concerned by the news that 12 local bakers have disappeared this year – but Wallace isn’t worried. He’s too distracted and dough-eyed in love with local beauty and bread enthusiast, Piella Bakewell, to be of much help. While they enjoy being the Toast of the Town, Gromit, with his master’s life in jeopardy, must be the sleuth and solve the escalating murder mystery – in what quickly becomes a Matter of Loaf and Death.

REMAX have released this TV movie, a joint venture from the BBC and HBO that aired some 17 hours ago on BBC2 last night. This is a PDTV capture from BBC2, so it’s close to but not quite DVD quality, and no commercial breaks.

Plot: Drama starring David Tennant and Andy Serkis. In the spring of 1914, with Europe on the brink of war, no one had heard of an obscure German physicist called Albert Einstein. A British astronomer, Arthur Eddington, realised that Einstein’s theories could unlock whole new ways of thinking about time and space. Despite the danger of being labelled traitors, the two men began a unique correspondence. An eclipse in Africa provided an opportunity to prove Einstein’s theories to the world. Eddington, an unlikely hero, set out on a journey that would change people’s perceptions of the universe forever.

Here is a release from one of my favorite groups, aAF. This movie is considered a joke to most, if not everyone. Currently, this places on the IMDb’s bottom 100. That being said I still felt the need to alert others of this release, because some people enjoy watching ‘bad’ movies. I am one one of those that get a kick out of the so bad its entertaining type of movie. Besides, why get Rick Rolled when you can get Iced? Thanks to aAF. Enjoy it!

Quality: HDTVRip. Looks pretty good. Info states that this was capped from a 1080 source with 5.1 sound. For a movie with such little fanfare I would say this is the best copy you will ever see. I am highly doubting this to appear on BluRay in the near future.

Synopsis: Johnny, a freewheeling, motorcycle-riding musician, rolls into a small town with his band, and meets Kathy, an honor student who catches his eye. Meanwhile, Kathy’s father, after being in the Witness Protection Program, is finally found by the two corrupt cops he escaped from years ago, who claim he owes them a lot of money.

The.Duchess.2008.SUBBED.HDRiP.XViD-CiMG

Here’s an interesting release, for several reasons. First of all, because this is a very well rated film with Keira Knightley who is now somewhat of a superstar. Also because it is such a high quality release AND the FIRST release of this movie at all. Second of all, this release pred a bit less than a day ago, but it had such a bad spread that it barely appeared anywhere apart of course from the CiMG affils. This is the reason why you wouldn’t have seen this on any news site/torrent site until now . I’m sure you’ll see it soon after this has been posted though since I know the staff on at least one other release site are obviously avid ZeroSec readers ;D .

Quality: This has hardcoded Korean subtitles and the aspect ratio is obviously off, but its an amazing first release of this film nontheless. It has been ripped from a Korean HD TV station.

Note: Since the Aspect Ratio is off, I recommend changing it to 16:10 in your favourite media player. That looks the best in my eyes.

Nuked: bad ar (bad aspect ratio). What i tells yous? Still very watchable as every good media player allows you to change the aspect ratio.

This pre’d a little while ago by SUNSPOT, This would have been posted earlier but other editors could not acquire it and I have been having some network problems, anyway, enough of that, you’re here for release info…. I believe this release is from a French HDTV source as it has French subtitles in places and is 25fps, 2CD with 5.1 AC3 audio, this movie is in English and is an American movie, great release by SUNSPOT.

Plot: Kevin Costner stars as Bud Johnson, an apathetic, beer slinging, lovable loser, who is coasting through a life that has passed him by, except for the one bright spot in his mundane existence, his precocious, over achieving twelve-year old daughter, Molly. She takes care of them both, until one mischievous moment on Election Day, when she accidentally sets off a chain of events which culminates in the presidential election coming down to one vote, her dads. Suddenly, Bud Johnson, the nobody, becomes the voice for everybody when the world realizes that his vote will be the one that elects the next president. Politicians invade the small town of Texico, New Mexico and its unwitting inhabitants, waging war for Bud’s vote.

AC3HD has released a 720pHDTV rip of the recent movie In Bruges. This was probably one of the funniest movies I saw in the cinema during the summer. I could not believe that the theatre was so empty, this was an amazing movie. Now we can all enjoy this in wonderful 720p, looks like Blu-Ray will be coming in December. I would have posted this earlier, but I didn’t want it to get lost in all the TV posts.

Plot: Bruges, the most well-preserved medieval city in the whole of Belgium, is a welcoming destination for travellers from all over the world. But for hit men Ray and Ken, it could be their final destination; a difficult job has resulted in the pair being ordered right before Christmas by their London boss Harry to go and cool their heels in the storybook Flemish city for a couple of weeks. Very much out of place amidst the gothic architecture, canals, and cobbled streets, the two hit men fill their days living the lives of tourists. Ray, still haunted by the bloodshed in London, hates the place, while Ken, even as he keeps a fatherly eye on Ray’s often profanely funny exploits, finds his mind and soul being expanded by the beauty and serenity of the city.
