Now this is a film I have been waiting for and I will be watching this release thanks to IMAGiNE, if you haven’t seen the trailer I reccomend checking it out.

Quality: The screen shots look good, but I can’t say about the sound, according to the comments the quality is not so good at all, better off waiting for a DVDRip folks.

Synopsis: A group of hardened Nazi killers stalk their prey in Nazi-occupied France as a Jewish cinema owner plots to take down top-ranking SS officers during the official premiere of a high-profile German propaganda film. As far as Lt. Aldo Raine (aka Aldo the Apache,” Brad Pitt) — is concerned, the only good Nazi is a dead Nazi. Raine’s mission is to strike fear into the heart of Adolf Hitler by brutally murdering as many goose-steppers as possible, or die trying. In order to accomplish that goal, Lt. Raine recruits a ruthless team of cold-blooded killers known as “The Basterds” which includes baseball-bat-wielding Bostonian Sgt. Donnie Donowitz (aka “The Bear Jew,” Eli Roth) and steely psychopath Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz (Til Schweiger), among others. When the Basterds’ secret rendezvous with turncoat German actress Bridget von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) goes awry, they learn that the Nazis will be staging the French premiere of “The Nation’s Pride,” a rousing propaganda film based on the exploits of German hero Fredrick Zoller (Daniel Brühl), at a modest theater owned by Jewish cinephile Shoshanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent), posing as a Gentile after the brutal murder of her family by the ruthless Col. Here’s a little p2p release which seemed to have slipped by somehow. It stars among others Adam Brody who’s actually the only one I can recognize at first glance. Really nice rating on IMDB for this film and its another Pay-per-view release from DEViSE. Enjoy.

Quality: Quality looks fine on this one. Its widescreen and video and audio quality look/sound good.

Synopsis: During World War II, a Jewish woman (Bisset) saves her life thanks to a love affair with a doctor in charge of human experiments in a Nazi concentration camp. The woman then marries and moves to New York, where she raises two emotionally stunted sons. The eldest son (Lucas) battles his sense of disconnection from life while working at a scam modeling agency, where he befriends a charming young co-worker (Brody) who begins to restore in him a sense of excitement and purpose. The neurotic younger son (Haas) is locked in a compulsive, co-dependent relationship with his mother.

Wow, creepy title much? DEViSE continue to provide rips before anyone else and I’ve got to say these guys have really proven themselves in the past year or so. They’re one of a rather small group of p2p groups that know what they’re doing. Anyways, here’s a pay per view flick starring Dominic Monaghan who you might recognize from the epic Lord of the Rings series or Lost. Looks pretty good and well rated too. Enjoy.

Quality: Quality isn’t as good as you’d hope video wise, but its probably because of the source. For a first release its very watchable though.

BlizzCon 2009 – PPV Recordings

BlizzCon is the official Blizzard Convention which is held yearly, where Blizzard announces and shares a lot about their upcoming games, expansions and updates. If you’re unfamiliar with Blizzard you must have never played a game in your life, but basically they’re one of the biggest (the biggest?) game developers of RTS/RPG and MMO games, perhaps most notably in the past few years the developers of World Of Warcraft and its expansions.

This years BlizzCon was held this weekend and for the first time it was streamed live as a pay-per-view event online. As expected, someone has recorded this event and it has appeared on online. No scene release has yet been pre’d however. Personally I’m mostly excited about the updates on Diablo 3 but expect a lot of news about World of Warcraft and Star Craft 2 as well. Ozzy Osbourne also puts on a show at the end of the last day.

Quality: The quality of the recordings are not the best, but this is to be expected from a p2p release. These are stream rips after all, so don’t expect it to be 100% glitchless either. There don’t seem to be any aspect ratio issues but the audio does un-sync when you skip forward (at least in VLC media player). When you just play it without skipping things seems to work fine though.

Worlds Greatest Dad PPVRip XviD-DEViSE

A really bad quality (bad aspect ratio and other issues) version of this film has been floating around now for about 2 days, but it was in a bad format and it really wasn’t worth posting about. DEViSE have now finally re-encoded that release into something watchable and man this film comes early. This is literally out in the cinema on Friday and it’s already out in what is basically perfect quality on the net. But yeah naturally there reason why its out on the net is pretty obvious.

Quality: Really great. DEViSE have done a good job recovering this rip from damnation into something very watchable.

Synopsis: Robin Williams stars as Lance Clayton, a man who has learned to settle. He dreamed of being a rich and famous writer, but has only managed to make it as a high school poetry teacher. His only son Kyle (Daryl Sabara) is an insufferable jackass who won’t give his father the time of day. He is dating Claire (Alexie Gilmore), the school’s adorable art teacher, but she doesn’t want to get serious — or even acknowledge publicly that they are dating. Then, in the wake of a freak accident, Lance suffers the worst tragedy and greatest opportunity of his life. He is suddenly faced with the possibility of all the fame, fortune and popularity he ever dreamed of, if he can only live with the knowledge of how he got there.
