same problem here. Keymaker can’t be extracted / run. (most likely due to antivirus)

@ 11 (andy): when u first time run the encoder a window should pop up. on the bottom-left there is a button which leads you to the serial fill in form.

well what exactly is the problem? you really only need the key if you want to encode movies. if your just going to use the codec and player, then you don’t need it. of course then you could have just downloaded the player from the original website. i suggest you just keep using it until it starts acting up and then you might anyways be prompted for a key. hope i could help

oh and btw: it now supports h.264 (.mkw) hd movies (as it claims), but i need to install the ac3 filter additionally. so if any of you are having trouble with taht, simple google for the ac3 filter website and dl and install the ac3 filter pack.

Sorry for late reply…tested the key on another system and had to wait for a deep scan report. So far, a-squared shows the keymaker as a win32.qqrob. Checked my tasklist/svc and so far nothing new, but doesn’t mean it could be a sleeper.

Went ahead and generated some serials & tested on another system w/ just the installer and used the generated keys w/ no problems so serials aren’t hardware dependent.
