Japanese film titled Dodesukaden w/c literaly means Clickety-Clack in English was released earlier today, it’s an INTERNAL sourced from a R1 Criterion DVD. The movie is contains episodes from the lives of a group of Tokyo slum-dwellers who plot of escaping the shackles of poverty.

Quality: Quality is pretty good considering that the movie’s 40 years old, w/c is expected as the DVD source has much better quality than the earlier available interlaced and overly dark Hong-Kong disc, the audio & subtitles have also been improved. Sorry for the similar screenshots, the SAMPLE provided doesn’t have any other scenes.

Synopsis: By turns tragic and transcendent, Akira Kurosawa’s film follows the daily lives of a group of people barely scraping by in a slum on the outskirts of Tokyo.
