Episode Summary: Series 1 Episode 4
On a day out to Box Hill things don’t go as planed. Emma ends up insulting Miss Bates after being encouraged to do so by Frank. After being told off by Mr Knightly, Emma realises what she did was wrong. Emma attempts to repair the damage she has caused. Mr Knightly decides to go stay in London with his brother for a while. After Frank’s aunt passes away the Westons think he will ask Emma to become his wife. What he actually does leaves Emma feeling shocked and she realises something that has been in front of her all along.
