In another addition to films that you could be watching instead of spanking it to sparkling vampires while dreaming about all the barely legal teens venting their slightly disturbing and somewhat unhealthy fantasies upon a film based upon a crappy novel collection, comes Equilbrium. POSSIBLY the last decent film Bale did before he adopted that annoying as all hell raspy american voice for the batman movies. God I hate the dark knight. Begins was alright though, but really - is the voice necessary? Seriously. If you haven’t watched this film, add it to the queue with leon, get some munchies in and watch now.

Ugh. I swear to hades, it’s only been two god damned days, and I’m already sick of hearing about robert bloody pattinson. Chicks find him attractive? Really? REALLY!?

Quality: Behold the sound and picture awesomeosity of Sean Bean and Christian Bale rockin tha muthafuckin hizzouse! Sorry. I was just listening to Coolio singing gangsters paradise. I have no other excuse.

Synopsis: In a futuristic world, a strict regime has eliminated war by suppressing emotions: books, art and music are strictly forbidden and feeling is a crime punishable by death. Cleric John Preston (Bale) is a top ranking government agent responsible for destroying those who resist the rules. OK, there’s no way you can compare ESiR and CtrlHD to aXXo.
ESiR releases movies that emphasize QUALITY over speed to release. The "scene" groups are rushing to get the movie out before each other and time after time the later "P2P" groups put out better quality versions, with better picture quality and extras like commentary tracks and multiple language subtitles. You’ll be lucky to even get the English subtitles for a scene release, sometimes even for films with foreign parts.

So @war, I say keep on posting the p2p releases as long as the quality is there. Groups like ESiR, WiKi, DEViSE can release great stuff because they’re not just rushing to get it out first, and aren’t limited by "standards" e.g. (1CD/2CD limit) - who wants a movie split into 2 files? Nobody uses CDs anymore!
