I’m sure the title will excite a lot of you. Just calm down, there is no official release out yet, I am just bringing you this little piece of positive news: A crack is being worked on as we speak. Not much else to say at this moment, except that Good things come to those who wait ;D This game is gonna be epic.

Well it’s kinda the same protection than the one with Spore I think, so it should be really easy for them.

It’s not all that fishy. Crysis Warhead’s English sounds are roughly 1GB. So if there are 4 languages missing (4GB) the jump from 7something to 3something GB seems reasonable. Stupid calculation, I know. But

The game is FULL. Just installed it. In the map editor : press ~ and go to console. there type quitToMainMenu. there will pop some errors but just keep pressing Esc down. It will go to the game menu. This should end the is it real discussion.

I have the 360 scene release and while its not "EPIC" I dont think that is "sucks" at all. The draw distance could be further, the AI smarter, but I found it really entertaining.

Ehm guys its only the editor not the fullgame.Because when you do a test ingame in the editor and press the ~ Key and type ‘quittomainmenu’

Just to inform you all.
Game uses no paul.dll and the whole system seems to be completely different.
At the moment i’m kinda confused about it.
Creates temporary files like "matroschka_launcher.exe","FarCry2_activation.exe"(aka "SecuROM Matroschka Unpacker"),"TGT7C.tmp","Alf.dll"(original name: "DFADecoderDlg.dll"),"DFA.dll".
"DFADecoderDlg.dll"(alias "Alf.dll") seems to be the key.
Looks like it is there to uncrypt the 1 tmp file, because start of that file begins with "SDFA".
Sadly i’m not quite shure how it decodes that temporary file
Sadly the release-date-check seems to be loaded even before FC2.dll(paul.dll) gets loaded.
Guess i won’t be able to crack it that fast.

This game does not require the DVD to be present after the game has been activated with a valid/legal serial. So a Fixed EXE is not needed!

just found out that the far cry2.exe repairs itself if it is changed so the crack from post 144 wont work because while running the .exe it repairs itself and you got the original exe…
same with the launcher

setting these files writeprotectet and the whole thing starts but quits saying nothing

The Paul.dll file is the FC2.dll file. It says so when you look at the file properties in Resource Hacker. They renamed it to throw people off.

As for Mr. Ubisoft, lol, last Ubi game I bought was prone to consistent crashes - on a console. That’s unforgiveable, it’s not like the h/w changes. I found out all you need is a key gen.
If you try to activate it off line and put any code in it will ask you
for a real code..BUT the UNLOCK request code changes each time.(when you press back button)

So all the codes are there in the program.

And also if you use PeerGuardian2
and use the editor it calls home …

lets hope this is real….

I did get get the reloaded crack from another site, two files (farcry2.exe & FC2.dll, 9mb, Looked real, And actually started the game but it wants access to "autopatch" …Whether you block it or allow it, It wont start….

Oh, And there was no keygen with it either (but it never asked me for a key)

Try mounting the image with Daemon Tools Lite (newest version), and then startup the game. I make use of backup images all the time with Dtools lite and securom protection and it always bypasses it without any cracks. Its worth a shot, would have tested it myself, but I don’t have the game yet.

Take note the images I make use of are the ones found on gamecopyworld.com, but try it with the game image itself and see what it does

Ok guys I’ve never posted here before but I see everyone’s scrambling to play and I always mooch off other’s successions.

Use that serial bypass with the dll and farcry2exe overwrite after install.
then physically burn the clonedvd image with alcohol 120% pop the disc in, run autorun, click play. when the autoupdate starts, click quit

And you should play. I was just at the main menu messing around and it works. Good luck to you all!

Now i’m having a problem. i quit the game and now im trying it again and i think i let the autoupdate thing go too long because now its saying i put in a backup. im gonna uninstall and try it again from scratch but I got the game loaded and even got a service pack 1 warning, disregarded it and then it loaded up a black screen. at the bottom there was a website url. then the main menu.

hope someone gets a crack out :S

Yeah so this crack was posted to various spots and is allegedly from the
darkc0der who allegedly cracked spore.

It DOES bypass the "game not released yet" AND the activation problems. But it fails at the original DVD check.
Also, teh game does detect YASU and dtoolspro as emulators and fails.

So not really usable YET, but posting anyway as it may help the right person.

Yeah, i knew i shouldnt have quit the game. Its the strangest thing. It had to have been a glitch. I was so excited that I got it working. I really don’t know why it doesn’t again. I think its because the auto thing loaded up, im frustrated trying to figure out why it worked the first time.

I didn’t see a lot of movies at all, only some real time rendered talking people who tell you a little story, nothing like Command and conquer and games like that.

It’s a really nice game, you can drive everywhere you want, using Jeeps and cars etc. You must buy weapons at stores and need medicine for malaria and stuff like that

The maps are huge and the AI is pretty clever, they even blow up your car if you walk away from it

No cracks work yet. Its legit tho that darkcoder released the actication bypass. I tried burning to dvd, wait about 20 sec trying to launch then says unable to verify disc authintication then says insert origional disc not a backup. 64bit sys here

1. Extract the RARs into "Far Cry 2\bin"
2. Create a shortcut to the Far Cry 2 executable
3. Add this to the end of command line
-loadmodule "FC2_rzr.dll"
4. Launch the game using the shortcut (with your burned DVD image)

This is great! It really shows me where to expand my blog. I think that sometime in the future I might try to write a book to go along with my blog, but we will see…Good post with useful tips and ideas
