Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Vasco and I am one of the “new comrades” here at ZeroSec (or at least I aim to be). I’ll be posting mainly in the Music category. I hope you enjoy my posts and “my” music.

Leslie, last name Feist, started her career in Calgary, Canada, and has proved to be one of the most prominent folk, indie and pop vocalists. After some collaborations with various artists like Peaches (who she shared a room with (madness!!)), Broken Social Scene and Kings Of Convenience, and the release of two original albums and a remix album, Feist released her third LP, “The Reminder”, in 2007, again with the help of Gonzalez and also Mocky and Jamie Lidell, amongst others.

Today, I bring to you, ZeroSec readers, the Deluxe Edition of this release. A double disc set containing the original “The Reminder” album and a second disc containing bonus content featuring key remixes (some of which have never before been available) from Feist’s worldwide multi-Platinum album, along with duets with Mocky and Constantines.

She wrote or co-wrote all the songs and co-produced all the tracks on this project. That makes it even more sublime and concise.
This record tells us the personal history of Leslie Feist, exploring all of her skills as a musician, without reaching any sudden conclusion. Involving and melodic sonorities within the pop and folk spectrum is what you’ll get if you listen to it carefully.
