Sorry for the lack of movie poster, but this was well beyond my ‘enter words into google image search and press enter’ ability… so there’s the book cover. As for the movie, never heard of it… but Ben Kingsley is in it so there should be some good acting going on. I would hope that this alone would guarantee a good movie, but tbh… Ben Kingsley is in everything. o_O… However, the subject matter is really interesting, and I for one, will be checking this out later.

Quality: DVDSCR - looks really good… no time stamp, and skipping through I didn’t see any black and white fadeouts, but those could be there. A lil short on the height, but other than that… very pretty.

Plot: Based on Martin McGartland’s shocking real life story, Martin is a young lad from west Belfast in the late 1980s who is recruited by the British Police to spy on the IRA. He works his way up the ranks as a volunteer for the IRA whilst feeding information to his British handler and saving lives in the process; until one day he is exposed, captured and tortured to within an inch of his life. He escaped dramatically by throwing himself from a tower block window and is still in hiding today.
