We posted the CAM of this movie some time back, but here is the BDRip of this young guy submerged into an underground world of bare knuckle brawling type movie and I suspect it comes with all the predictable plot devices that usually accompanies such fare. Personally I am not a fan (’Fight Club’ was a terrible film imho) at all so I will not really enjoy this but I am sure it will appeal to a quotient of our readers who dig this type of movie.

Quality: BDRip, a step up from DVDRiP. The 720p has also been released by iNFAMOUS for those looking for even better quality

Synopsis: Small-town boy Shawn MacArthur (Channing Tatum, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Public Enemies) knows firsthand that every day in New York City is a struggle to survive. So when scam artist Harvey Boarden (Terrence Howard, Iron Man, Hustle and Flow) gives him a chance to be something more in the brutal underground world of bare-knuckle street-fighting, Shawn decides that he has something worth fighting for and puts everything on the line to win. Every knockout brings him closer to the life he’s always wanted, but also traps him in a dangerous web he can’t escape

WOW. I do not think I have ever heard someone say Fight Club was a "terrible" movie. Wow is all I can say. I love that movie. Not that this movie will be comparable to fight club but I think it might be decent at least.

Technically it is brilliant on all fronts from the score to the sets, don’t misunderstand me. I just strongly dislike the ‘uber’ masculinity it places on a pedestal…it reminded me of Gibbons in a zoo enclosure hurling sh!t at each other but with more stylistic emphasis.

I don’t mean to be mean, but I am pretty sure the real themes and points in Fight Club went completely over your head. If you revisit it in a few years, it will probably feel like you’re watching an entirely different movie.

And if it helps, Starship Troopers is actually a satire.

grepp, if you are really interested in the themes of Fight Club, may I suggest a visit to wikipedia, here’s an excerpt to get you going:

Much of the novel (film) comments on how many men in modern society have found dissatisfaction with the state of masculinity as it currently exists. The characters of the novel lament the fact that many of them were raised by their mothers because their fathers either abandoned their family or divorced their mothers. As a result, they see themselves as being "a generation of men raised by women," being without a male role model in their lives to help shape their masculinity. This ties in with the anti-consumer culture theme, as the men in the novel see their "IKEA nesting instinct" as resulting from the feminization of men in a matriarchal culture.

Even those who don’t "like" Fight Club as a movie generally have some admiration for the way the thing was brought to the screen, whether it be the subliminal shots, the acting, SOMETHING. It is very, very surprising that ANYONE involved with films, whether it be on a board or otherwise, would say something like that about a film heralded by many as being quite a cinema breakthrough…
