Filter is my favorite band. Period. Filter’s masterpiece Title of Record is my favorite album. Period. Filter have been around since 1995. I started listening to them around 1999 when they went mainstream with ‘Take a picture’. After the success of that single people stopped listening so it seemed. In 2002 they released their follow up album The Amalgamut. Fantastic album, yet did not spawn a big single. Some years went by and Richard Patrick (lead singer of Filter) worked on some side projects. Army of Anyone the most notable. In early 2008 Richard got some new guys together and released Anthems For The Damned. If you have not yet heard Anthems you really should give it a try. I have listen to some 30 second clips of the songs on this Remix album. This album sounds good from what I have heard so far, but I URGE you to listen to the original versions of these songs off Anthems For The Damned first. Thanks to one time ripper(s) FiLTER.
