I’ll be honest, I wasn’t terribly impressed with the movie, but, come on! It’s GI Joe, I had to watch it for nostalgia’s sake anyway.

Quality: I don’t know if the source was only 1280×536, with a lot of black bar, or if it’s a bad crop, but it seems kind of a ripoff for 720p. Video’s nice and clear though, and audio’s what you’d expect from 1500 kbps DTS.

Synopsis: G.I. Joe, an elite military unit, operate out of The Pit. They take on an evil organisation led by a notorious arms dealer.

I went into this with low expectations (especially after being disappointed by Transformers 2) but was pleasantly surprised and had a lot of fun. They even got Destro’s ancestry right.
If you want a quality version of this in HD, go for the WiKi release (8GB instead of 6.5, and has commentary track).
