The guys from Getaway in Stockholm really keep busy. Seems like it was only a few months ago that the eighth instalment of GiS was released, but already a ninth one is here. If you don’t know what GiS is let me explain it to you shortly. It is basically a group of people (based around one man known as MrX as far as i know) who openly street race in the streets of Stockholm, Sweden. Even with the Police on their heels they always manage to get away from them. Fans of street racing are sure to have seen the previous instalments. This instalment features 2 Porsche 911’s GT3!! One of my favourite cars ever.
Update: Getaway.In.Stockholm.9.EXTRAS.DVDRIP.XviD-XSTREEM has been released, which contains, as the title implies the DVD Extras. Look below for more information.
Description: Getaway in Stockholm is a series of illegal street racing movies filmed using mainly car mounted cameras along with some cameramen alongside the route. The videos are all shot in the streets of Stockholm, Sweden and have developed a world-wide underground cult reputation in the street racing scene. One film is released every year. The actual run takes place during early morning hours in late autumn when there’s the least amount of traffic. The identities of the drivers and the car owners are carefully withheld. So far, nine volumes of the series have been released.

Idiots. Having filed fatality reports for crash victims in a previous job, I have come to see first hand what speeding does to people. Try hanging out with someone who has an acquired brain injury (ABI) for a while and see if you think that is really worth speeding for. That’s if you even live.
Better to be 5 minutes late than 50 years early. Wish these *******s would keep it on a track. What if you were crossing the f’ing road, drunk or stoned early one morning???
These kinds of people are some of the main reasons I dont drive a car today - and if I did, it would probably have to literally be a tank for me to feel safe.
You want to learn REAL tactical driving, do it at a school and learn properly. You just want speed, join a club and get on a track and maybe make some money or fame out of it. Just DON’T race in my street.
Wonder how many people that do this regularly come away unscathed after more than a year or two.. or without having killed someone else.
