I haven’t watched much stand-up comedy in my life, not until recently anyway, within the last year or two I’ve started to watch a lot more Comedy Panel shows on TV, and grabbing every stand-up show and DVD I see. From BBC’s Live at the Apollo to HBO’s Down and Dirty with Jim Norton. I wasn’t much of a fan of Jimmy Carr and admittedly I only really saw him on C4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats and a few stand-up specials, but this DVD is very funny and a lot funnier than his previous works. But as stated in the synopsis this is a lot darker comedy than we have seen from him before on TV, which is probably why I liked this more.
