So here we have the new Knight Rider series, released by LOL. The tv-movie-pilot-thingy that aired last year, I can hardly remember it, I do remember liking it though. I never really followed the original series but did watch it a lot when it was airing on Bravo. Remember the previous pilot that aired last year was a tv-movie-pilot-thingy, so this first season follows what happened in that pilot, you don’t need to have watched the pilot to watch this though, this first episode gives you everything you need to know.

I personaly liked the air’d show and will keep watching it till it goes bad or boring. if you dont like it, then go back to some other forum that wants to bag everything on the net that doesnt give links to FREE stuff. Jerks.

As a fan of the old show I have to say, that this one is shite. BUT if you take a good look at the classic show from the point of view of a grown adult in the 2000s instead of a kid in the early 80s… was it really so much better? The orginal Knight Rider was also no more than shallow entertainment with unrealistic campy stories and questionable acting. It’s just that now everybody looks back at with a great sense of nostalgia, kinda like it is with Star Wars or Indiana Jones. A follow up will never be able to hold up to the expectaions generated by this.

But for the new generations that never saw the original starts a fresh look at a show we remember. I think they have done really well with this show and made it interesting for both older and new generations. I kinda like the new knight rider better but thats only cause I love sci-fi and technology.
