Well, it seems the big Metallica moment has finally come around. I guess Lars won’t be to happy about us posting this little piece of info (Oh noez the revenuez!!11one). Unfortunately we only have a poor 128kb/s P2P copy so far in wma format, but for those of you who have been desperate for some Metallica ever since St. Anger: Your moment is finally here! From what I’ve heard, this is a lot better than St. Anger as well, so my money goes on satisfied customers. Enjoy!
Edit: Seems like the one on The Pirate Bay is actually a 320kb/s bitrate (up-coded from 128k so it’s redundant) release. The rapidshare links below are for the 128kb/s bitrate one which was released first.
Death Magnetic is the upcoming ninth studio album by American heavy metal band Metallica. It is scheduled for release on September 12, 2008 by Warner Bros. Records. The album will be the band’s first to feature current bassist Robert Trujillo, and the first to be produced by Rick Rubin. Death Magnetic also marks the first time in the band’s history in which all band members contributed to each song on an album, and is the first album in twenty years to feature an instrumental track, since … And Justice for All. It will be their first studio album released through Warner Bros., although they still remain with Warner Music Group, which also owns Elektra Records, the band’s previous label.

From what I have heard , this is a lot better , but james is still doing that annoying singing thing he does .
It is kinda cool a p2p rocked this first , people in the scene need to treat their sources better from what I hear .
