RELOADED are doing very well at the moment (as always). They have just released Mirrors Edge! This game has been on console for a while but I do know a few PC gamers that have been waiting to get their hands on this one, here it is!

Quite unusual indeed for a RELOADED release to be nuked, but hey its the truth. Wait for proper.

Description: Mirror’s Edge introduces players to Faith, a “runner” in a world where communication channels are highly monitored and the movement of human traffic is closely watched. When Faith’s sister gets framed for a murder she did not commit, Faith finds herself on the edge of the city, on the wrong side of the law. Anyone get the "unable to run" bug on the 3rd Chapter Heat? 30 seconds after the level loads you are unable to run, hindering your ability to jump etc.

I think it’s a copy protection system.

Hey Lobby.

I’ve got the same problem!

The game runs at full speed, music and ambient sounds plays fine, cars and people go about their business down on the streets, I can hit things and turn on a dime but I can’t run. or barely walk for that matter. It’s like I’m waist deep in syrup and I’m trying to wade through it.

Anyone know how to fix this?

yeah. crack is just 1.0 - the patch just puts a new .exe in the game dir, so if you crack it you still get 1.00!! so we need a new crack.

it also stucks in chapter3 and slows you down, so that you can’t play / jump…

i can’t save the game progress!!!when i run the game,at first it says "Could not open save file.Your progress will not be saved - Retry or Continue without saving"…anybody has the same problem or found a solution for this?thnx in advance

I downloaded the game, but with the install programm, i must give a serial number, where can i get one? I tried some programs, but my computer said mirrors edge wasnt installed on my computer.

Yeah I think the sound is weird in this game. The effects are so loud, you can’t hear the dialogue. Even with dialogue volume turned up to max…

Anyway to turn effects (ambient especially) down?

hmm i have this installed on 3 different computers and it works fine. i’m running windows 7 x64~ i guess it depends on ur rig.

you could also try changing [Language] to hexadezimal 3 and [LanguageName] to English in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA Games\Mirror's Edge\1.0]

Great game! works with the ORIGINAL patch file for me. v 1.00. It only works up until the third mission or so, then I get the whole "wading through slime" effect as well. Hopefully a new patch will be released soon!

@"Works unitl.." i have got the same problem…in the third mission is 10 sec after start the mission the "slow-motion-slime-effekt" and you cant jup over the "valley"…is that a problem from the patch or crack?
