I’m not much for sports games, but, there is a certain something about hockey games that I find to be quite exciting. It’s not a sport I watch, but I’ve found in the past that hockey games are usually pretty fun to play. DAGGER brings us a PAL version of EA Sports’ NHL 09. Many thanks to them for their work. This one’s got some pretty high scores across the internet too. Looks like this might be worth a download if you fancy yourself some hockey.

Description: EA aims to light the lamp again with the ‘09 edition of its annual hockey game. NHL 09 brings Be A Pro to the ice, allowing gamers to step on the ice as themselves through a dynamic camera angle. In Be A Pro Mode you will earn your own hockey card as you progress from the AHL to the NHL.

The Skill Stick system from the past two NHL games evolves yet again in NHL 09 to bring precision control to the defensive side of the puck. The all new defensive skill stick gives you 360° control over your stick’s movement. Block passing lanes, poke check more effectively and for the first time ever, lift an opponent’s stick to prevent a shot.

Had a quick question guys. How easy it to modd a 360 and then burn these discs so you can play these games and does it block you from live? Thanks for the help in advance.

It does not matter if it’s pal or not, if it’s region free then any machine can play it.

It’s simple to mod a 360 once you get the tools. Watch out for the Liteon drives which are very hard to mod currently. Make sure your burner supports the right burning style. Afterdawn.com’s forums have some pretty good info.
