We haven’t had many music posts lately, so let’s break that cycle right now because one of my favorite bands have a new album out that was released by the scene today. You may (or may not) remember Reel Big Fish from their radio hit ‘Sell out’  back in 1997. That is around the time I first discovered them. They are a Ska/Punk band, but some of their songs could be considered rock-ish. They were dropped from their major label record contract in 2006. The band have been very happy about this though and have released a live album, EP, and LP since. There will be a new album of brand new songs coming later this year. In the meantime, we have this nice release where the band performs covers of some well know songs from musical acts such as Poison, John Mellencamp, The Eagles, Tom Petty, and more. Thanks to FNT. Reel Big Fish is an American ska punk band from Huntington Beach, California, best known for the 1997 hit “Sell Out.” The band gained mainstream recognition in the mid-to-late 1990s, during the third wave of ska with the release of the album Turn the Radio Off. Since the band’s founding in 1992 and their demo In the Good Old Days…, the only original member remaining is Aaron Barrett
