Why is there always a virus on the keygen on these games?
February 8th, 2009 at 7:43 pm
@ 4 (dude): you need to post your anti virus you are using, exactly what it is detecting and for what file. Often anti viruses detect keygens as being viruses. I once had an ‘xm’ music file detected as a virus, because it was piracy keygen music!! So the heuristic scanners can often come up with false positives. Only way to confirm is if a fair few scanners come up with the same result.
Poor stooges lol I liked Shemp

"Kaspersky Anti-Virus; Found nothing"
And there is the definitive answer. It’s clean, like everything else that has ever been posted here.
People really need to learn the in’s and out’s of anti-virus software.
#1: Never rely on a single anti-virus program.
#2: Never rely on a crappy garbage anti-virus program, ever. Kaspersky & to a slightly lesser degree AVG are the only really good anti-virus programs out there, as determined by all the anti-virus testing labs that grade them.

@ 8 (R.K.): AVG is shit. Avira (AntiVir) and Eset (NOD32) have the highest detection rates - check http://www.av-comparatives.org. However, bear in mind that alot of scene releases are packed and crypted, the same as alot of viruses, so alot of anti-viruses will pick up on that. I’m not saying its clean and I’m not saying its infected, I’m just saying be careful, make sure you have a decent firewall as well as an anti-virus before downloading anything.
