Here is a P2P release of the DVD Screener of Slumdog Millionaire. I posted the OST of this movie the other week.

Quality: Looks like a good screener to me. Check out the samples. Hard coded english subs for non-english parts but thats to be expected.

Synopsis: The story of Jamal Malik, an 18 year-old orphan from the slums of Mumbai, who is about to experience the biggest day of his life. With the whole nation watching, he is just one question away from winning a staggering 20 million rupees on India’s “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” But when the show breaks for the night, police arrest him on suspicion of cheating; how could a street kid know so much? Desperate to prove his innocence, Jamal tells the story of his life in the slum where he and his brother grew up, of their adventures together on the road, of vicious encounters with local gangs, and of Latika, the girl he loved and lost. Each chapter of his story reveals the key to the answer to one of the game show’s questions. Each chapter of Jamal’s increasingly layered story reveals where he learned the answers to the show’s seemingly impossible quizzes. But one question remains a mystery: what is this young man with no apparent desire for riches really doing on the game show? When the new day dawns and Jamal returns to answer the final question, the Inspector and sixty million viewers are about to find out. At the heart of its storytelling lies the question of how anyone comes to know the things they know about life and love.

An adequate film that was largely overrated. If you like sentimentality and a sense of the contrived, you will love it.

couldn’t see any b w scenes by flicking through it nor logos or watermarks so if there are any it could only be a few. picture quality is good, p2p dvdscr so not really great but well watchable

I just finished watching this movie, and though it was good, it sucked on the level of boring, in "was that it?". It failed miserably, just like Revolutionary Road did. Both movies contrast each other, one was a miserable tale of tragedy where a well off couple end in endless hope, the other is a couple who come from misery to endless dreams. You can throw Revolutionary Road in there with Seven Pounds, Gran Turino, Pride and Glory, Benjamin Button, The Wrestler all with fucking tragic endings. Personally I find the Wrestler the Best movie of the bunch, even though I enjoyed most of them, The Wrester was the most moving with exceptional acting from the lead. I didn’t have to wallow in 1 hour of pre-teen horrendous acting with little children delivering the script. Slum dog Millionaire for all it’s hype is a fail of boring. At least it had a happy ending, I’ll give it that, or did it?
