Stargate Atlantis Season 5 has been absolutely awful, IMHO. A lot of very poor storylines, most of which failed to create any kind of story arc for the season. It’s like the writers had been told they would be unemployed (until Stargate: Universe anyway) at the start of the season and just simply gave up trying for the next 20 episodes. This particular episode is just plain rubbish too, pointlessly done as a CSI pastiche - I expected more for the next-to-last-ever episode.
