A new mockumentary on the Dungeons and Dragons phenomena that focuses on the intensity leading up to the final round of an epic game of D&D. There have been some very funny mocku’s over the years on a variety of genres, however this is one that up until now I have not heard of. It does look fairly low-budget and indie in it’s approach but this can often be an advantage rather than a hindrance. Being familiar with the game myself I will certainly be giving it a watch.

Synopsis: Five years ago a Dungeons and Dragons campaign of epic proportions began in the small modest apartment of Peter the Dungoen Master. This campaign brings together four individuals that set out to destroy the evil dragon Kern and return the Crystal Sphere to its rightful owner. With Ed the leader thief, Betsy the Elven Mage, Roger the head strong Dwarf, and William the proud and loyal Paladin, they formed The Assemblage of the Crystal Sphere and traveled the mythical world of Kern seeking out evil and vanquishing it. As they get closer to their ultimate objective a film crews begins to document their progress in the last three months of what is certain to define the lives of all the players involved. Ed, stern in his beliefs, desperately tries to hold the group together and keep them focused and on point as tension, tragedy, and in-fighting charge towards the forefront as the end draws near. Can the group conquer the demons within in order to finally overcome the dragon Kern and save the world?
