SSF released this high rated korean movie earlier today. I’ve never heard about this flick, but some korean movies aren’t that bad, so don’t let that frigthen you. This one’s actually scored a nice rating on imdb, as well as good reviews on several sites - and listen to this. It won the Grand Prize award at the 44th Baeksang Art Awards, as well as the five top prizes at the 45th Daejong Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor, not to mention having been very well received at Cannes. From what I can gather, this appears to be the directors first movie. http://asianmediawiki.com/Hong-jin_Na And yet, it’s already up for an english remake…by the guy who made "the ring" out of ringu… he’s also up for butchering old boy apparently (Steven Spielberg is apparently in on that.Remake to star Will Smith..not fucking kidding).
Watch this one before it gets remade by another director- in english…with M and M in the lead…

Fantastic cop/serial killer movie on par with ‘Memories of Murder’.

I avoided all foreign films until a friend made me watch this.
It’s one of the best thrillers I’ve ever seen.
Now I watch foreign (thriller/horror) films regularly.
Seriously, give it a shot. You may just like it.

not the best korean movie i’ve seen but it is a good movie and worth downloading if you haven’t seen it before as i watched this last year. oldboy is still the best korean movie ever made.
