Here’s a new DVDScr courtesy of group HLS. This is a german film which had a screening at the Cannes film festival this year I believe.

Quality: Quality is pretty good. Audio is in german but as the release name implies, this release is SUBBED. That means it has hardcoded subs, which is just as well since most of you don’t speak German.

Synopsis: In a village in Protestant northern Germany, on the eve of World War I, the children of a church and school run by the village schoolteacher and their families experience a series of bizarre incidents that inexplicably assume the characteristics of a punishment ritual. Who could be responsible for such bizarre transgressions? Leonie Benesch, Josef Bierbichler, and Rainer BockMichael Haneke’s Palm d’Or-winning period drama.
