Big release by x360inT just pred, but please note that at the moment this is unplayable on any iXtreme 1.5 modded drives, a few more information is available on the forums, Commodore4eva said that the team is working on a 1.6 version of the firmware capable to run this new games, so please be patient.

Description: Set in a near future, this flight combat action game inspired by the best-selling Tom Clancy videogame franchises imagines a world where a private military force has cumulated such power that it attacks the USA. Thrust into the cockpits of incredibly powerful and technologically advanced jet fighters, gamers will benefit from hi-tech piloting assistance, providing comfort, security and enhanced perception. i dont understand.

does this mean the new 1.5 firmware is possibly useless ALREDI to most upcomign games meaning we will have to upgrade to a 1.6 firmware once made??

From all the information I have gathered this morning, there are 2 new games that will NOT boot on the iXtreme due to new ss/pfi and video partitioning.

c4eva is suppose to be releasing a new iXtreme 1.6 this week hopefully. But the 2 new games that are currently not booting are: MLB2k9, and HAWX.

Here is a little information about what is going on and will explain to you a little bit better:

Basically,

We have security features in the modded fw we use.
these features make sure that the PFI and Video are from Wave 1 or Wave 2
this was done to insure games not burnt right or with the data missing
wouldn’t boot and lead to bannings.

When we used the program we all use to check our games we noticed that
MLB 2K9 Had a new pfi and Video A so called 3rd wave.

now for those of you that don’t know what that means

The only way we could get the game too boot was by rolling back our mod to 1.41 non stealth on a benq

Not too much can be done about this untill we see another new game to see if this is the new way or what
there is question if they screwed up and its just mlb 2k9 like this..

New games are coming out with the nxe update on the disc and the only place microsoft could put it was in the video partition
now, old firmwares and games didnt always have a video partition, so when ixtreme was made, they got it to check the video partition
and if its crc didnt match wave 1 or wave 2, then the game wouldnt boot
now, this is wave 3, so ixtreme wont boot new games
if you need to boot the game, then flash to xtreme or non-stealth firmware
or wait for 1.6.

New video partition support in ix1.6 coming soon!
finishing hitachi 1.5 this week, then 1.6 for all drives
1.6 will have 0800 dumping for all drives including hitachi along with new video partition support

Well it shouldn’t, to be honest its just a delay the 1.6FW will be out shortly as its only a CRC check so should be easily added to the last build ie 1.5, then we’ll all be back to normal.

@ 16 - No. The only way the game will work is if you are using ix 1.4x non-stealth version. But, playing it non-stealth is like yelling at MS to ban you. So, unless you already got a banned 360 machine, you be wise to wait for a new firmware version.

ok noob question coming: PLEASE HELP!!!

i bought a used PAL-core one year ago, which is not banned (for sure), and i NEVER go online with. i also never flashed it myself, cause it worked just fine with all rips. therefor i dont know which flash my box got, dont know how to check, and only have a laptop, so i dont know if i could flash it without connectivity-kit.
can someone here please tell me, if there is a chance for me to play this? cause the flash is more then one year ago, and to this point there was perhaps no ixtreme with stealth, or ixtreme 1.3 or something?

@ 19 (beenii): Well, if is a core, and was only flashed one time (not updated) probably will come with a non stealth firmware, so you can try to boot it, if doesn’t boots the game, you are using any iXtreme stealth version.
If you are using a non stealth firmware, there isn’t much need to update the reader, specially if you don’t go online

if you use the video partition and PFI from Fear 2 you CAN play this on a stealthed FW. i have ixtreme 1.5 and game runz great . but i surely wouldnt suggest going online with it

to skeggs , honestly i dont know how to check whatz on there, far as i know you just have to remember what you flashed it with

to pudink , if you read my post above that will tell you how to play it on stealthed FW. ixtreme 1.4 is stealthed, and 1.6 will be the next ixtreme FW if you just want to wait, should be matter of dayz hopefully.

as i said before i would NOT play this game on live if you use the fear 2 pfi file

Maybe i have ixtrem 1.4 fw on a benq drive first i burn the game unfixed and the xbox read it only dvd video then inject the PFI and video section with xbcreator burn it and get the new update xne but for the game need a update and the disk is unreadable i burn the game fixed and i get the same message but this time read the title of the game and install it to HDD without play it.
