Apologies for the lack of posts in this category, the ZeroSec Film Club has been moving along niceley with Trick ‘r Treat (2008), Sneakers (1992) and now Dr. Strangelove (1964). So again we’re making a post to maybe lure some of you over to the forums to join in on the conversation. Each week a genre is put forward and a list of films is put together, all users can then vote on which film from the list they would like to watch. Anybody interested can then grab the film, watch it and discuss with others once the thread is opened.

The fourth film was chosen to be Dr. Strangelove and the thread is open for discussion so if you enjoy talking about movies, we would like you to join us! Read through the links below or skip straight to the discussion thread if you’re ready to chat!

@1 Jawohl, mein fuher.. I mean, yes, sir.

This flick is one of THE classics you should’ve seen.
The ‘Ride on a Nuke’ is one of the most known scenes, which is near the end of the story.

I can not stress this enough:
If you have never seen it, WATCH IT NOW!!!

As the panda proclaimed, it truly is an all time classic.

And i know, some of you might think "meh, some old movie that was good for the time its been made in", NO, nonono! This is genuenly awesome, funny and intelligent and its not dated at all.

i think it’s one of the best movies ever made. I highly recommend that you watch the movie, then read about hidden meanings, how it was affected by kennedy assassination etc (for example wikipedia is a good place to start: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Strangelove) and then rewatch it. This movie is a true masterpiece!

Another suggestion go watch the movie The Life and Death of Peter Sellers. It’s a great biopic and Peter Sellers does a spot-on Geoffrey Rush impression..
oh.. wait.
It’s the other way round.

That movie also goes into the making of Dr.Strangelove (among other movies featuring Sellers) and how Sellers was originally going to be playing Major Kong aswell.

Oh wow. Thats a really good pick. Not alot of people have seen this one, but its one of my favorite ‘war’ movies of all time. OF ALL TIME!!

HAAA THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!!! IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THIS ONE, YOU DON’T KNOW SH*T ABOUT MOVIES…. Way better than Kubrick’s Clockwork orange, Lolita and 2001:A Space odyssey… Ahhh and by the way this movie is the reason cause i hate "My Fair Lady", because it won the oscar for Best Movie, Director and Leading Actor the year that Dr. Strangelove was nominated….
